Well one day this boy decided to leave the cabin and find his way to the caring arms of his grandmother. So as the boy continues on for a few hours he finds himself right back where he started but something’s different, the door, the boy thought to himself “Didn’t I close the door behind me?” he then went over to the door to see what was going on and inside was a man lying on the floor next to the fire the boy left in the fireplace. The boy quickly realized that the man was injured and as he went to go help the man a dog leaped from behind the door knocking the boy on the ground; the boy very frightened now asked the man to call off his dog. The man realizing the boy is no threat called his dog back and asked the boy what he was doing here all alone; the boy told the man what had happened the year before and that he had been staying here ever sense. Then the man told the boy about what had happened to him and that he is actually a very nice man in some deep trouble with some really bad people. With the boy sitting on the ground next to man; the man says Attila and the dog comes from the corner of the cabin and sits next to the man. The man says to the boy he’s yours; he will be loyal, protective and a best friend. The boy says thank you sir but I can’t take him; he’s your dog, without him who will protect you, who will be loyal to you and who will be your best friend. With the boys hand in his he says my days are almost over, so the real question is who will he have to be loyal to, he would wander with no one to take care of him, so by taking him you help me and you keep him living.

Chapter 2

So the boy takes the dog with him on his journey to his grandmothers and on the way the boy stops and grabs his stomach, Attila  whines and looks at the boy with a worried expression  and the boy says “its ok Attila, let’s keep moving.”  So the two continued on their journey and they come across an old shack, the boy and Attila were exhausted from all the walking, so they sat and rested with Attila guarding the door. Then suddenly there was a loud thud outside the door of the shack, it was a barrel that had been sitting up against the shack; but what knocked it over. The boy looked out the window and what he saw made his heart skip a beat; it was a bear whose eye had been scratched over with a scar holding it closed. The bear was trying to break through the door. Attila rushed the boy under a table and when the bear finally broke through the door he rushed at it bit its front leg and made the bear chase him to a safe distance from the shack leaving the boy under the table in the shack.

Chapter 3

It had been many hours sense the bear broke into the shack and Attila still had not made it back; the boy, worried now, started to get up from under the table when he heard a bark, it was Attila. With him he ad a girl and a cat.

What is 44,816 rounded to the nearest hundred

Answers

8 is in the hundeths place, and 16 is less than 50, so you round it down to 44,800.

The round off of 44,816 to the nearest a hundred is 44,800.

What is the meaning of Round off?

In mathematics, Round off refers to the changing of a number  into an approximation having fewer significant digits.

Rounding off implies simplifying a number by preserving its value but moving it nearer to the subsequent number. It is performed for whole numbers as well as decimals at various hundreds, tens, and tenths places. Numbers are rounded off to maintain important digits.

For instance, Round off 15.4 to 15, round off 15.51 to 15.5 or to 16, round off 0.499 to 0, and round off 970,000 to 1 million is to change a number into an approximation having fewer significant digits.

The digit eight is at the hundred place in 44,816, so the next digit must be either less than or greater than 50. The next digit that is 16 is smaller than 50. Thus, the digit is converted into zero. Thus, it becomes 44,800.

Therefore, it can be concluded that 44,800 is the round off of 44,816 to the nearest a hundred.

How does the rhetorical language and structure of the preamble influence its purpose, meaning and tone

Answers

the preamble is specific which results in a direct and logical tone expressing the purpose and reputation for the government . "we the people" is a meaning of unity it shoes the purpose of the goal of the new government in the equality and justice.

Answer:

The preamble begins with the phrase "We the People of the United States" to project a unifying and equalizing viewpoint of the citizens of the United States. For example, the authors could have chosen instead to say “We the Framers of the United States.” However, the choice of “We the People” imbues the purpose and goal of the new government—to promote equality, justice, and political representation for Americans—into the actual rhetoric of the document. The video about the preamble describes this point as well. “We the People” includes all Americans, making the Constitution an empowering document for the American people.

The preamble to the Constitution is relatively brief and to the point. The main clause in the preamble states the general purpose of the Constitution: “We the People of the United States . . . do ordain and establish the Constitution for the United States of America.” However, considering this statement doesn’t include information about the ambitions of the new government, the authors include a significant nonessential prepositional phrase to reveal the aspirations of the new nation: ". . . in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity. . . ."

The preamble also contains a logical and direct tone, highlighting the authors' focus on using reason to legitimize the purpose and reputation of the new government.
