Voter suppression concerns with the effort made legal and illegal, that are used to 'prevent eligible voters' from exerting their right to vote. Instead of suppressing one’s right to vote, 'Voter ID laws' are to prevent voter fraud and to make sure that elections are conducted with integrity and security which they require. The reason people oppose specific voter laws is not to cheat but because when laws limit the ways how a person prove they are who they say they are.
