The correct answer for 1 is false. After the French defeat, the lands became British and Britain imposed new rules on how to deal with Natives. These rules were not friendly and the Native Americans were highly dissatisfied because the French were often friendly to the Natives and worked together with them

The correct answer for 2 is true. The land where the Natives lived belonged to France. Frenchmen didn't bother them and kept the relations positive. When France lost and Britain got the  territories, British soldiers inhabited the land and started bothering the locals which rose tensions.

The correct answer for 3 is false. The Native American tribes that worked together failed to kick out the British armies from the lands. However, they did compel them to change their policies regarding trade and behavior on the lands which means that it was a sort of a stale mate.

The correct answer for 4 is true. The proclamation forbade the colonists from going westwards. This caused a lot of anger because they wanted to spread more westwards since they wanted more land for themselves. This proclamation was important because it established borders for living in the colonies.

The correct answer for 5 is false. The colonists were unhappy. They wanted to go more westwards and get new land and establish new colonies. They believed that the king had no right to restrict their movement since it was forbidden by law to go westwards.

1. F. Native Americans were unhappy to trade with the British.

2. T

3. F. Pontiac and his forces did not successfully force the settlers from Native American lands.

4. T

5. F. Colonists did not accept King George's right to restrict their freedom of movement.

1. False. Following the French defeat, Native Americans were not happy to trade with the British. The British victory in the French and Indian War resulted in a shift of power dynamics, leading to increased tensions between Native American tribes and British settlers.

Many Native Americans resented British encroachment on their lands and perceived the British as a threat to their autonomy and way of life. Consequently, trade relations deteriorated as Native Americans saw the British as intruders rather than allies.

3. False. Pontiac and his forces did not successfully force the settlers from Native American lands. While Pontiac's War, sparked by the movement of British settlers onto Native American lands, did result in attacks on British forts and settlements, Pontiac ultimately failed to drive the British from the region.

The conflict ended inconclusively, with Pontiac eventually signing a peace treaty in 1766 that did not achieve his goal of expelling the British from Native American territories.

5. False. Colonists did not accept King George's right to restrict their freedom of movement. The Proclamation of 1763, which prohibited colonists from moving west of the Appalachian Mountains, was met with widespread resistance and defiance among the colonists.

Many viewed the proclamation as an infringement on their rights and freedoms, particularly their ability to expand westward and acquire new lands. Colonists disregarded the proclamation and continued to move into the western territories, leading to further tensions between the colonies and the British government.

How and why has Civilization changed over time?

Please explain how life changed over time using evidence form all four time periods of the completed chart. Make sure to explain how food surpluses helped in the creation of complex civilizations.

Answers

(Try to summarize this)

We can immediately think of different features: styles in art, architecture and music; different writing scripts; a distinct literature; a particular set of religious beliefs; noteworthy forms of government; special practices – for example, gladiators (Rome), caste (India) and so on. And of course, all civilizations occur at a particular time and place in world history.

For example, you will all know which civilization I am talking about when I mention pyramids, mummies, hieroglyphs and pharaohs. Ancient Egypt, of course.

Nothing I’ve said above, however, is quite as it seems. Taking Ancient Egypt as an example, the Egyptians only built pyramids at one phase of their history. Hieroglyphs were not used in everyday life. Sometimes the land of Ancient Egypt was ruled by foreigners, not native pharaohs. Their religious beliefs changed over time. And yes, they certainly embalmed bodies – but so did many other ancient peoples.

Other civilizations changed much more drastically. The ancient Romans began their history under the rule of kings, before changing to a republic, and then an empire. They spent much of their history as pagans, but later converted to Christianity. In their early days they built Greek-style temples; by the end they were building great domed cathedrals. They even ended up in an entirely different location: starting out in central Italy, the last people who considered themselves “Romans” died defending a city in what is today Turkey.

All civilizations show these sorts of changes, to a lesser or greater extent, and yet, most of us know what is meant when we hear the phrase “Ancient Egyptian civilization” or “Ancient Roman civilization”.

Of course, as historians (professional and amateur), we expect all civilizations to change over time: they grow and spread, their cultures evolve, their political systems change. But what is really interesting (for me, at any rate) is, when one civilization changes into another.

This issue lies behind such questions as: when did the ancient civilizations of Egypt and Mesopotamia come to an end? What exactly happened to the civilizations of ancient Greece and Rome? Can the civilization of China be truly regarded as a single, long-enduring civilization, or do the outward continuities mask one or more break-points?

How does a civilization, which over the course of centuries or millennia has been gradually changing, change so drastically that it can no longer be regarded as the same civilization?

In a series of blog posts I’m going to look at this matter with regard to particular civilizations.

The rise of Nazism happened because of what factors? Select all that apply. The U.S. and England were becoming a threat to German culture. The German people began to distrust the Jews and gypsies and wanted them out. The German government could not keep up with the huge debt repayment imposed from World War I. Rampant unemployment demoralized many Germans and they needed to regain a national self-esteem. The prevailing political parties offered no hope and no solutions to the abysmal state of German identity. Because the allies blamed Germany for World War I, the Germans suffered a deep sense of national guilt and needed someone to instill a sense of national pride.

Answers

The correct answers should be
1. The German people began to distrust the Jews and gypsies and wanted them out.
2. The German government could not keep up with the huge debt repayment imposed from World War I.
3. Rampant unemployment demoralized many Germans and they needed to regain a national self-esteem.
4. The prevailing political parties offered no hope and no solutions to the abysmal state of German identity.

There was a high rate of poverty because Germany had to pay huge war reparations. They also were forbidden to have a military and create arms. These kinds of things made them feel humiliated and when Hitler came and promised them the world they all started supporting him. Other parties didn't offer anything so radical.

The rise of Nazism was influenced by economic hardship, the Treaty of Versailles, national humiliation, and political discontent within Germany. Adolf Hitler used this environment to promote nationalism, scapegoat minorities, and establish a totalitarian regime.

One major factor was the severe economic hardship that Germany faced post-World War I, exacerbated by hyperinflation in the 1920s and then the Great Depression. The Treaty of Versailles had imposed crippling debt on Germany, leading to widespread unemployment and a loss of national pride.

Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party capitalized on the nation's desire for recovery by blaming minority groups such as Jews for Germany’s problems and by criticizing the Weimar Republic's weaknesses. Their promises to restore German greatness and promote a sense of national identity resonated with many. The party's use of violent militias intimidated opponents and spread anti-Semitism, effectively consolidating power and transforming Germany into a one-party dictatorship.

The conditions created by the Treaty of Versailles, along with a sense of betrayal against the Weimar politicians labeled as the 'November Criminals,' fostered resentment among the German populace. This environment, along with support from big business and the army, allowed the National Socialists to gain power through manipulation, fear, and the exploitation of economic crises.

How could a War between the US and USSR be even worse than WWWII

A war between the US and the USSR would have been worse than WWII, because they both had nukes, which would result in high casualty rates at a relatively low amount of time, radiation that kills many more people and destroys crops, land, water sources, etc, and pretty much just ends the world (if nukes were used everywhere)

hope this helps
Well the Cold war was pretty terrible because this war wasn't about territory, or control, but rather beliefs as a whole. Also, there was a lot of manipulation going on, which messed up a lot of peoples governments. For example, I believe we staged a coup in Afghanistan which actually messed up a pretty solid presidency, and as a result, we formed Al Qaeda, religious extremists.
