Answer:
big band blares
Explanation:
Alliteration is a literary device in which several words that have the same first consonant sound appear together in a series within a line of verse. Alliteration depends on the sounds of the letters, and not in the letters themselves. In this case, the consonant sound that is repeated is "b," in the phrase "big band blares." Therefore, these are the words that create alliteration in the poem.

A poem with fourteen lines and a mixed rhyme scheme is a sonnet. The first eight lines of the first Sicilian sonnets, according to William Baer, are exactly the same as the eight-line Strambotto stanza of a traditional Sicilian song.
A sonnet is a particular kind of poem with a set rhyme system and often fourteen lines. The Shakespearean sonnet (or English sonnet) and the Petrarchan sonnet (or Italian sonnet), each with its own unique rhyme pattern, are the two basic varieties of sonnets.
Both kinds of sonnets are distinguished by their rigid organization and frequently address issues of love, beauty, nature, and human emotions.

Answer:
C) Oedipus pinned ankles leads Jocasta to a shocking realization.
Explanation:
Oedipus, the Chorus, and every one of the residents of Thebes comprehend the genuine idea of what has been around them. Oedipus blinds himself after hearing the news on the death of his mom/spouse. Oedipus' mighty acknowledgment of this fact, just as the demonstration of blinding himself, speaks to the climax.
Oedipus feels the devastating load of destiny and comprehends the pointlessness of his own opportunity even with such bigger components. This would need to be the peak since it is now where all inquiries are replied. It is now in which there is the best pressure. The news on what Jocasta has done and what it implies is the thing that hits Oedipus with the best of force. The climax presents itself here as the perfection of the previous acts. They have prompted this sincerely crude and serious minute. The incredible truth of self-acknowledgment and the clarity of seeing one's very own bind in a bigger component is the place the peak in Sophocles' drama is enlightened.

THE MATCH
There never was a time when the world was without fire, but there was a time when men did not know how to kindle fire; and after they learned how to kindle one, it was a long, long time before they learned how to kindle one easily. In these days we can kindle a fire without any trouble, because we can easily get a match; but we must remember that the match is one of the most wonderful things in the world, and that it took men thousands of years to learn how to make one. Let us learn the history of this familiar little object, the match.
Fire was first given to man by nature itself. When a forest is set on fire by cinders from a neighboring volcano, or when a tree is set ablaze by a thunderbolt, we may say that nature strikes a match. In the early history of the world, nature had to kindle all the fires, for man by his own effort was unable to produce a spark. The first method, then, of getting fire for use was to light sticks of wood at a flame kindled by nature—by a volcano, perhaps, or by a stroke of lightning. These firebrands were carried to the home and used in kindling the fires there. The fire secured in this way was carefully guarded and was kept burning as long as possible. But the flame, however faithfully watched, would sometimes be extinguished. A sudden gust of wind or a sudden shower would put it out. Then a new firebrand would have to be secured, and this often meant a long journey and a deal of trouble.
In 1827, John Walker, a druggist in a small English town, tipped a splint with sulphur, chlorate of potash, and sulphid of antimony, and rubbed it on sandpaper, and it burst into flame. The druggist had discovered the first friction-chemical match, the kind we use to-day. It is called friction-chemical because it is made by mixing certain chemicals together and rubbing them. Although Walker's match did not require the bottle of acid, nevertheless it was not a good one. It could be lighted only by hard rubbing, and it sputtered and threw fire in all directions. In a few years, however, phosphorus was substituted on the tip for antimony, and the change worked wonders. The match could now be lighted with very little rubbing, and it was no longer necessary to have sandpaper upon which to rub it. It would ignite when rubbed on any dry surface, and there was no longer any sputtering. This was the phosphorus match, the match with which we are so familiar.

which aspect of the following poem might imagists most admire?
Read the excerpt from Elie Wiesel’s All Rivers Run to the Sea.
Why were those trains allowed to roll unhindered into Poland? Why were the tracks leading to Birkenau never bombed? I have put these questions to American presidents and generals and to high-ranking Soviet officers. Since Moscow and Washington knew what the killers were doing in the death camps, why was nothing done at least to slow down their “production”? That not a single Allied military aircraft ever tried to destroy the rail lines converging on Auschwitz remains an outrageous enigma to me. Birkenau was “processing” ten thousand Jews a day. Stopping a single convoy for a single night—or even for just a few hours—would have prolonged so many lives.
Based on the paragraph, the author would most likely agree that
it is best to avoid confrontation at all costs.
people need to be proactive when they witness an injustice.
countries should remain neutral to keep alliances strong.
Moscow and Washington are to be blamed for the Holocaust.
